Visions of Forgiveness and Reconciliation May 20, 2025
I share with you two visions.
In the first vision, I saw anger and resentment between me and my brother Mekhi.
He said hurtful words and so did I.
I told him, “If that’s how you feel, don’t text me anymore.”
To that, he said “I won’t!”
Days and weeks gone by,
I saw at a table, my cousin and Mekhi.
My cousin knew about the friction between us two.
He sat on Mekhi’s side of the table, he did not speak.
But I looked at him from the corner of my eye, knowing that my cousin shouldn’t have to choose sides.
So, I reached out my hand to my cousin.
In relief, he shook my hand.
After that, Mekhi reached out his hand to me.
And I said, “Don’t touch me!”
And I woke up.
Then, I saw a vision of Mekhi approaching me with anger in his eyes.
I apologized and I cried.
He said, “I will fall to my knees to beg your forgiveness.”
I said, “I will also fall to my knees.”
We fell upon each other’s shoulder and wept sorely, begging each other’s forgiveness.
Before I walked out of the door, I told my dear brother Mekhi that I loved him and I told his spiritual sons that I love them too.
As I pondered the second dream, I was troubled that Mekhi and I fell to our knees.
For, to fall upon your knees is to worship, and no one should be worshipped but God.
But then, God gave the healing revelation that I desperately needed.
Forgiveness and reconciliation with one another is worship unto to God.
And without forgiveness and reconciliation with one another, one has not begun to worship God.
