Satan’s Trojan Horse

Consider the ancient ten year war between the Greeks and Trojans;

Tensions enflamed by passions for a stunning dame,

Both sides encapsulated by temptation.

The Greeks won the ancient war by deceptive ploy.

They made the Trojans a “gift” with interior motives to destroy.

When the Trojans accepted the gift, out came Greek soldiers and burned the city of Troy with flames.

Such is Satan’s plot. The only difference is that his Trojan horse is pain.

Sometimes our humanness clings to pain as if we have something to gain from it if we just hold on to it.

Hear this you enlightened ones. Light the enemy’s Trojan horse on fire til his stronghold is expired.

Healing is an acquired taste from the Balm in Gilead, even the blood of the Christ.

Ask the Lord to heal your spirit, body, and mind so that the Greek imps cannot burn your city with arrows of unforgiveness, resentment, and strife.

As you are healed, joy, peace, and light will encompass your life.
