You can love or you can live in offence.

But you should know that love covers a multitude of sins.

It's easy to be offended,

To hear someone in a way not intended.

I breathe in humility and look for wisdom.

It is then when I hear the message clearly.

Beyond the hostile noise of self-preservation and fear.

With compassion, hold them dear.
